Tufts is this unique institution located right outside of Boston. We have a long and storied history, and we have interdisciplinary programs. We have opportunities for graduate students outside the classroom to engage deeply in their passions and the things that they care about. And we also make sure that our labs and our faculty are accessible. Our students work diligently with faculty to cultivate and experience an environment that's enriching, both academically but also personally.
It is a people centered place where relationships matter. It is a place where people are smart, they're ambitious, but they are also kind. You will feel welcome at Tufts
The graduate student community is amazing, diverse and very welcoming. I look forward to harboring more great relationships in the future with my graduate cohort.
Applicants to Tufts University have access, especially if you're a PhD student, to funding and other opportunities. Students who are PhD applicants and they're bringing fellowships with them will support them as well. In addition, our master's programs have some scholarships.
Tufts University stands out from other institutions because of its commitment to civic engagement and social justice, you will be able to address whatever topic you're studying from this perspective.
We really want to train next generation leaders, equipping them with the skills, particularly how to integrate core principles of equity and justice into whatever work it is that they do.
